The album uses an unusual layout in which the three CDs are enclosed in a fish encyclopedia booklet, a homage to the band's name ( Sakana ( 魚) means fish in Japanese). It was released on Mato commemorate the tenth anniversary of their major debut. Sakanazukan ( 魚図鑑, 'Book of Fishes') is a greatest hits album by Japanese rock band Sakanaction.
